Lingering object re-created

What it means

A DC received an update for an object others already deleted — a sign it was offline past the tombstone lifetime.

First steps

  1. 1Find the DC that was offline: repadmin /showrepl.
  2. 2Clean with repadmin /removelingeringobjects (start in /advisory_mode).
  3. 3Do not reconnect a stale DC blindly — rebuilding is often safer.
